As Israel pounds Hamas hideouts inside the Gaza Strip, the prospect of Palestinian refugees clamoring to enter the United States is rattling Democrats in Washington, DC.  Democratic Socialist and proud Squaddie Congressman Jamaal Bowman is agitating to throw the doors of asylum wide open.  The White House, however, insists that the administration has the Palestinians covered through the United Nations.  The White House would also like to win re-election next November.

Republicans are in no doubt that Gaza’s Arab neighbors should bear responsibility for the evacuees.  Two House Republicans have drawn up the Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission “GAZA” Act to prevent the White House from going soft.

Senator Tom Cotton worries that Hamas sympathizers may already be inside US borders.  The Arkansas Republican is demanding immediate deportation of “any foreign national – including and especially any alien on a student visa – that has expressed support for Hamas and its murderous attacks on Israel.”  Republican Senator Josh Hawley wants the Justice Department to investigate student organizations for ties to the Palestinian terrorist group.  Out on the campaign trail, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is reminding Republican voters, “I banned refugees from Syria.  I banned refugees from Somalia — very dangerous places — and from all of the most dangerous places all over the world.  I banned them.”  The MAGA OG promises, “In my second term, we’re going to expand each and every one of those bans.”
