President Donald Trump's tornado of executive action is leaving his opponents winded. CNN star Kaitlan Collins tells NBC's "Late Night" host, Seth Meyers, that she can no longer enjoy quiet weekends because, unlike Sleepy Joe, Trump makes news "essentially nonstop every day." The news correspondent complains that she has even had to skip breakfast to cover the president conducting a morning press conference. She warns, "If you see me running, like, fire up your Twitter, 'cuz something's about to happen, and it's probably not great."

For the majority of the American public, however, Trump happening is great. According to the latest batch of public opinion polls, the MAGA leader's job approval numbers have never been better. CBS News reports that 53% of US adults give Trump's first weeks back on the job a thumbs up, his highest approval rating, yet. Even bigger majorities describe the 78-year-old as ""tough" (69%), energetic" (63%), "focused" (60%), and "effective" (58%). The new administration's widely televised round-ups of criminal illegal immigrants for deportation are also crowd pleasers. Six in ten Americans approve of "the Trump administration's program to deport immigrants illegally in the U.S."

Trump's tormenters may be dizzy and disoriented, but the public's eyes are wide open. Seventy percent of Americans agree that "47" is carrying out his campaign promises. The Washington Beltway better buckle up. We're not even into month two.
